Date Night

Wednesday nights have become date nights for Toby and I, since we rarely get to see each other. So yesterday we went out to eat and then decided to go for a walk in Zilker Park. Man is it pretty. There's a path that runs beside a river filled with joggers, walkers, bikers, swimmers, kids, dogs, trees, bamboos, flowers... just gorgeous. There were people canoing and picknicking and grilling. It was so nice. We sat down by the water and put our feet in and just talked.

It was really nice to just have some down time to ourselves.

And of course I love my time with Aiden when I come home after work and get to play with him in the evening. He's so darn cute.

Today we met with some ladies from Aunt Ellies playgroup who are looking for a nanny for the fall. It sounds pretty promising, so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

All moved in

We've finally got our computer up and running.  Hooray.

Life is good.  I have started teaching children's theater workshops for the summer up in Georgetown, TX.
It's kind of a long drive, but I get to direct kid's plays all summer long, so it works out good.  This is the first time I've had to be away from my little French Fry for 8 hours a day and I can already feel the strain of that.

He is getting some excellent quality time in with his Daddy though.  They go for walks every day and go swimming and sometimes
they hang out with Aunt Ellie and cousin Korbin.  Then I usually get home by 4pm and Toby leaves for work at the restaurant by 4:30pm.  So Aiden gets to see us all day long.  Lucky boy :)

Aiden now eats stage 1 foods.  He LOVES sweet potatoes.  He reaches for things, recognizes his bottle, laughs sometimes (usually for Toby), sleeps 12 hrs at night straight through and is starting to take longer naps and is just adorable.
He rolls over and plays with his toys and loves his blanky that my grandmother (Oma) knitted for him.

We're busily planning the wedding.  Even though it's going to be casual and laid back, it's still alot of work :)
